Welcome
S.A.V.E (Sexual Assault and Violence Education) is a student-led organization comprised of survivors and allies at UW Bothell.
S.A.V.E’s mission is centered on education, advocacy, and support. We plan to increase awareness and knowledge of sexual violence as well as relationship violence through providing educational workshops, campaigning for increased resources for victims, and creating a healing sanctuary for survivors who are in need of compassion. By implementing these measures, we hope survivors will feel empowered and that they feel supported by their peers and university.
Our goal is to establish a renewed campus environment free of victim-blaming. It’s time that survivors stop experiencing shame and self-doubt and instead believe that their voices are going to be heard and respected.
This organization is open to ALL students. Whether students are survivors or consider themselves allies, we would love to have you attend! Those who visit S.A.V.E meetings will be required to keep students’ disclosures and other sensitive information confidential.
